CLUB MEMBERS

MEMBERSHIP

Our membership consists of more than 250 recreational cyclists in the greater Austin area ranging in age from 4 to 83. We are brought together by our love for bikes and our desire to challenge ourselves, mostly on the road but also on dirt and gravel.

Many of us enjoy racing our bicycles on occasion and we count among our ranks many present and former Texas state champions. Our junior program has graduated riders onto national development teams and into the ranks of professionals. 

Our members are active in our community. Whether it be coaching scholastic mountain bike teams, serving on Austin’s Bicycle Advocacy Committee, or working to end traffic fatalities through Vision Zero programs, you can be sure to find VC members doing their part to promote the sport and make cycling safer for everyone.

Members support all of our programs at Violet Crown and receive many benefits:

REQUIREMENTS

Members must pay annual dues to maintain benefits and commit to volunteering at two club events.
