Racing has been a part of the charter and heritage of Violet Crown since it started. Our race teams seek to grow and inspire individuals with the desire to race by providing the structure, experience, and camaraderie that being a part of a team can provide.

Men's team

Our goals:

  • Recruit and foster a competitive cycling team
  • Establish a core team of racers who participate in local and regional races as a team
  • Organize team race clinics

Women's team

We're a friendly group of women who love to ride our bikes! Join our team to give some structure to your riding, improve your bike handling and technique, and learn racing teamwork.

Our goals:

  • Recruit women, trans, femme and non-binary cyclists who want to improve riding skills and gain racing experience.
  • Establish a core team of racers who participate in local and regional races as a team
  • Train together, race together, and get stronger through team clinics, training sessions, and group rides
